The Shops at Boardwalk features a synergistic mix of fitness, apparel, specialty, and service retail accompanied by a diverse range of fast casual and full-service restaurants. These uses complement neighboring big boxes Walmart and Lowe’s, who attract significant traffic from a wide radius. The Property features unique and attractive architectural appointments and landscaping that gives The Shops at Boardwalk a “boutique” lifestyle feel in a market filled with several large big-box centers.

The ownership group of Boardwalk Shopping Center was looking to reduce common area expenses. They had very tall poles lights with very inefficient lighting fixtures. Management did not have a good lighting replacement solution and utility rebates were decreasing.
Solution
MES worked with the property manager to identify a lighting fixture everyone was comfortable with. MES completed a photometric layout of the shopping center and installed samples to make sure the light levels were sufficient.
MES completed this turnkey project improving the lighting quality and efficiency at the shopping center.
